24th January 2015:
What happened to 2014? It was fun! We were back at Sussex Prairies in September for their unusual sculpture and plants fair. Lovely weather and some good sales and commissions. It was great to be a part of the pop up "Advent" exhibition at The Babylon Gallery here in Ely . I sold some limited editions mobiles for inside. I am sorry they do not appear on this website yet. they have been difficult to photograph successfully, but I am working on it. More news on new work and exhibitons soon....

29 June 2014:
My work has been selling at Sussex Prairie Gardens and I have already sent some more work down there.
I have found a solution to limiting the amount of movement of the "Two Tall" sculpture which should be back in the Lewises' wood for Cambridge Open Studios
Please check Cambridge Open Studio July dates when you can see new work in our garden here in Ely and more in Stephen Murfitt and Terry Beard's garden at Wicken and on Lyz Gardner's house and in her garden.

June 2014:
Quite a bit of time has been taken up with sculptures now showing at Sussex Prairie Gardens. I am also working on a light hearted bubble blowing design and another jokey work involving the classic male and female symbols.
There will be some indoor mobiles for sale at my open studio next month. The tribute to George Rickey still requires some work. All being well, it will be back in the wood at The Lewises, Prickwillow for July.

March 2014: I am working on some indoor mobiles to sell at Cambridge Open Studios in July. I am using straightened lengths of willow and also Lexan polycarbonate, but not in the same work. Please check back for updates, images and prices.

"Two Tall". Although I exhibited it in John and Sonia Lewis's wood at Prickwillow in 2013, I am still working on this tribute to one of my favourite kinetic sculptors, the American George Rickey (1907-2002). The white glass fibre tubes are about 6 metres and articulated on both horizontal and vertical axes of a one metre "T" piece. I want them to move with great freedom, but avoiding collision with trees, for which I need to make a limiting mechanism which does not abruptly stop the progress, nor have much visual presence.
